Apptiv's policy on privacy is simple - it's your data, not ours.
We don’t collect or process any personal identifiers, contacts or characteristics (for example, name and contact details)
Our apps don’t collect any information for us.
We don’t track your usage, we don’t receive your location, we don’t know what device you’re using, or even which version of our app you’re using.
The Placer app does make a connection to either Apple or Google servers to retrieve the map to display if it’s not already on your device.
The app also connects to the relevant Apple or Google server to retrieve pricing information, and to see if you’ve bought the Pro features subscription.
We don’t get any personal information from them regarding your purchase.
Whilst we might have a legitimate interest to such information under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we think that your data is your business, not ours, so we made a choice not to collect it, and leave you in control of how your data is shared.
